Introduction

Central Lake Ontario Conservation offers Environmental Education programs to give students and those concerned with the health of the environment excellent hands-on learning opportunities. These programs create awareness of the value of environmental protection and stewardship of our watershed.

Central Lake Ontario Conservation is pleased to present the In Our Watershed - Environmental Education Program Guide. Within the guide, you will find programs designed around the Ontario Provincial School Curriculum expectations. The programs are offered at local conservation areas or can be modified to fit your class requirements.

Customized programs are available by request.

Let us come to your school
Do you have permission to access a pond, forest area, park or creek near your school? Let us bring the same program you have enjoyed at the conservation areas to your school and save the bus cost. Some programs may be conducted outside whereas others are better delivered in a classroom setting for at least a portion of the lesson.

There is also an Availability Calendar on the Reservation Request Form
