About the Maple Syrup Festival

As in past years, visitors will be able to enjoy a walk through the woods to the Sugar Shack where we produce our gold label maple syrup.   See interactive historical displays about maple syrup production and visit the Pioneer Cabin by the Sugar Shack.

Visitors can still hop onto the horse-drawn wagon ride and travel back in time through the Purple Woods Sugar Bush and a shuttle service is available, upon request, for those with physical limitations that make the walk up or down the hill difficult.  Please inform Authority staff when you arrive, if you require this service.

A schedule of Festival Events is available online please check regularly for updates.  Do you have a sweet tooth?  The Heritage Store will be open daily for visitors to purchase maple syrup and maple products such Enjoying some pancakesas sugar candy and fudge and a visit to the Festival would not be complete without enjoying a stack of hot delicious pancakes covered in 100% pure maple syrup.  Pancakes will be served at the Heritage Hall daily with a portion of the proceeds going to local not-for-profit organizations.
