Flood or 'floodplain' mapping shows the extent of potential flooding across an area during significant storm events and is used to inform development and land use. The last Lynde Creek Flood Mapping was done in 2008, and an update was needed to utilize more accurate data, include significant changes in the watershed and land use, and include estimated future impacts due to climate change.
